Paul Bagley • Public Artist, Industrial Designer

Along with teaching, Paul’s professional activity and achievement as an artist, including applied art and design, began in 1990 after leaving a career in IT. In 2006, Paul sought available grants to fund his personal, public art projects. In 2016 he collaborated with Butzer Architects and Urbanism and was a finalist for Dallas Love Field Airport Public Sculpture, Dallas TX.

To advance in the realm of large budget industrial art, he collaborated with the Flaming Lotus Girls of San Francisco in 2011. Paul was lead fabricator for solving the build-out by accurately calculating the rotating truss components into their final composition for structural integrity.

He shares a desk as a guest artist with the Obelisk Engineering group where Butzer Architects and Urbanism is also located, a professional Oklahoma City-based architecture and urban design practice dedicated to improving communities through exceptional practice, teaching and community service. We welcome visitors to drop in and see the architecture and art.
