This personal lantern was carried through the streets of Tucson as a guiding light to the final destination, the ceremonial burning of the urn during the annual All Souls Procession in Tucson. Each panel represents a significant theme:
Mother • Father • Innocence • Love
After about 20 years of slow growth, this sixteen foot tall agave flower stalk suddenly appeared from the center of the daggered plant to seed only once, followed by the death of the entire plant.
